LOGIC TECHNOLOGIES COMPANY FOR INFORMATION SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY (“Logic Tech”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides the Logic Tech Inventory mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1) Data We Collect
We collect and process the following categories of data to provide inventory and synchronization features:
Account and authentication data:
Username and password (entered by the user at sign-in).
Authentication token generated by your backend after login.
User profile and authorization data:
User ID, username, roles, permissions, and profile fields returned by your organization backend (for example: email, phone, department, branch, warehouse).
Device and app data:
A locally generated device identifier used for sync and operational continuity.
App settings such as configured server URL, language/local preferences, and app version metadata.
Operational and inventory data:
Inventory counting sessions and counted lines.
Master data used by operations (for example: items, sites, warehouses, units, barcodes, categories).
Import/export data selected by users (for example CSV files used in import workflows).
Scanner/camera input:
Barcode values scanned through supported hardware scanners or device camera scanning features.
2) Permissions We Use
Depending on device and features used, the App may request:
Camera permission: for barcode scanning from camera.
Network permissions: for API communication and sync.
Honeywell decode permission: to support compatible Honeywell hardware scanner devices.
3) How We Use Data
We use data to:
Authenticate users and manage secure session access.
Authorize features based on role/permission scopes.
Synchronize inventory and master data with your organization backend.
Enable offline operation and recovery (including local progress/state).
Support barcode scanning, CSV import/export, and operational workflows.
Provide update/version checks and app support functions.
4) Legal Basis / Purpose
For business customers, processing is performed to:
Provide contracted software services.
Fulfill legitimate business operations (inventory, stock counting, and audit continuity).
Meet security and operational requirements of customer environments.
5) Data Storage and Security
Some data is stored locally on device to support offline operations and synchronization.
Sensitive session data (such as auth tokens) is stored using platform secure storage mechanisms.
Other app operational data may be stored in local app databases/cache.
Data is transmitted to the server configured by your organization. We strongly recommend HTTPS/TLS server endpoints.
6) Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data.
We may share data only as needed with:
Your organization systems and authorized backend services.
Technical service providers required for app functionality (for example platform/service SDK dependencies).
Legal/regulatory authorities when required by applicable law.
7) Data Retention
We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including:
Active app session and offline-sync continuity.
Customer operational and legal requirements.
Retention periods may be controlled by your organization policies, backend settings, app logout/reset actions, and uninstall/clear-data behavior.
8) Children
The App is intended for business/enterprise use and is not directed to children under 13.
9) Your Rights and Choices
Depending on applicable law and your organization policy, you may have rights to:
Request access to your personal data.
Request correction or deletion.
Request restriction of processing.
Request data export where applicable.
